Sandra Jean Dudiak, 67, of Peoria passed away at 11:56 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at her residence.

Sandra was born on Aug. 14, 1948, in St. Paul, Minn., to the late Edward and Gloria Jean (Hanson) Reichow. She married Paul Dudiak on June 18, 1982, in Peoria. He survives.

She is also survived by her children, William M. (Rae Ann) Dudiak, Lisa A. Dudiak, and Sean C. Thomas; eight grandchildren; sisters, Cecelia (Hubert) Boyer, Gail (Bill) Scaramuzzo, and Cynthia (Donald) LaPante; one brother, Robert (Nadine) Reichow; father -in-law, Joseph (Shirl) Dudiak; mother-in-law, Ruby E. Smith; brother-in-law, Wayne (Josie) Dudiak; and sister-in-law, Deborah L. Schaff.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Wayne C. Hald.

Sandra had two associate degrees, one in accounting and the other in computer science, and worked as an accountant for RLI.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church former member of St. Jude Catholic Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was also a member of St. Jude Choir, Cursillo, and CHRP.

Sandra had a loving and giving spirit about her, shining so bright that strangers were immediately drawn to her.

She enjoyed playing piano, traveling, and cats. She spent four years in Switzerland before returning to the United States. She was an avid reader and loved her children and grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Father Dustin Schultz will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, also at the church. An additional visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Wright & Salmon Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
