After a long battle with kidney disease, John Michael Kujawa passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2016 in Ft Myers, Florida. John was born in 1948 in St Paul, Minnesota to John and Mary Kujawa.


John served his country honorably in Vietnam, beginning at the young age of 18, and was awarded a purple heart. John raised his family in Roseville, Minnesota. He worked for Maxson Steel, Frattallone’s Ace Hardware, and Burlington Northern Santa Fe. John’s hobbies were baseball, fishing, and golf. John attended First Assembly of God church in Ft Myers FL, Evergreen Church in Park Rapids MN and Redeeming Love Church in Maplewood MN and was a strong believer in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. John also loved making people laugh, in particular his two grandchildren.


John is survived by his wife Laurel Marie (Melbo) of 46 years, his two sons, Christopher John and his wife Michelle Marie (New Jersey) and Nicholas John and his companion Kris Rae Ault (Florida), two grandchildren Seth Christian and Emily Grace, his three siblings Patricia Frattallone, Diane Pechan, and James Kujawa, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, many friends and of course his faithful dog, Fergie.
